Your Soma stylist has the training and intuition to know what hairstyles will look best on you and will explain how they may fit your needs. Watch and interact with your stylist while he or she is doing your hair so you can learn how to recreate the style at home. Put yourself in the hands of a trusted expert—the best way to ensure the look you desire is to entrust our talented and experienced staff.

Aveda’s service reputation is built on the philosophy that learning never ends. Our stylists learn to execute their own vision in a way that best suits your wants and needs.

The Soma Commitment
If you are having a challenge with any service performed at Soma please call us within 7 days of the originally scheduled service so that we may address any concerns. Please note, we cannot guarantee color services performed by our technicians without the use of suggested Aveda products for home use.

As always, the team at Soma thanks you for your patronage and looks forward to any suggestions that will assist us in meeting and exceeding your expectations. Additionally, since we work as a team to provide you with an ideal experience we encourage you to explore the services and techniques of our team of providers to find the which best suits your personal fit.

Refunds
Any guest requesting a refund must come in for an in-person consultation with the owner within 7 days of their original appointment prior to request being approved.

Pre-booking
Upon checkout, we do highly recommend pre-booking your next appointment to ensure a convenient time that fits your schedule.

Appointment and Cancellation Policy
A credit card is required for booking all services. If there is no card on file you may book immediate walk-in appointments only.

If running a little late, please understand that every effort will be made to still deliver the service. However, appointments may have to be rescheduled. We request at least a 24-hour notice in the event of a cancellation, as we may be able to accommodate another guest. Failure to provide this notice will result in the FULL cost of the service

For Balayage, Full Foil, Keratin, and Hair Extension appointments, a 48 hour courtesy notification of cancellation is required. Without cancellation 48 hours prior to the appointment, the FULL cost of the service will be charged.

Exchanges
Concerning purchases, we will gladly exchange an Aveda product that was purchased in our salon within 7 days of purchase equal or lesser value for another product, though promotional pricing will not be extended.

Guest Safety
To ensure the safety of our guests/staff, and to allow us to give each guest our undivided attention, only the person receiving the service is permitted on the styling floor. All other guests are asked to wait in the reception area, as required by our insurance provider. Children are not allowed in the spa area at any time and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Miscellaneous and Payments
Soma Salon is not responsible for lost or stolen items or items left behind. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and cash are all accepted methods of payment.

Parking
Parking is available throughout the shopping center and all garages are free for up to 3 hours.  The closest garage to Soma is adjacent to the salon and is called the Artisan East garage.

MBTA
We are conveniently located near major train and bus stops at Assembly Row. We are minutes from Downtown Boston via Orange Line.
